## Description

As a trusted finance partner to WSP Global leadership, this role ensures the business's financial position is accurate, compliant, and well understood.

The role holder brings together technical accounting, tax, and analytical skills to strengthen governance, reduce compliance risk, and improve how the region's finances are run.

Responsibilities:

- Consolidate month-end financial information and report to various stakeholders

- Upload financial data onto Hyperion & Prevero

- Prepare and consolidate annual financial statements and statutory reporting

- Review intercompany transactions for tax and statutory compliance

- Manage tax returns for WSP, including income tax, VAT, WHT, and PAYE

- Assist with internal and external audits

- Prepare financial input for Board and EXCO packs

- Integrate commercial and financial reporting

- Perform ad hoc reviews and investigations into business unit performance

- Participate in merger and acquisition activities

- Assist in managing and simplifying the statutory structure of WSP Africa and associated entities

- Role model standards for SHEQ performance and behavior

Qualifications:

- 6 years post-qualifying experience as a CPA/CA(SA)/CTA

- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy

- Certified Public Accountant

- Advanced Excel skills and Oracle and Hyperion experience

- Good technical background in IFRS and understanding of tax

- Consulting experience preferable

- International Tax exposure is an advantage
