## Description

We are seeking a qualified Supplier Quality Senior Engineer to join our team at American Honda Motor Company. As a Supplier Quality Senior Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products by managing problem investigation, analysis, and reporting for quality, delivery, and packaging issues.

**Job Purpose** The successful candidate will utilize technical expertise to ensure supplier parts meet drawing and specifications, evaluate and understand part Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Process Quality Control Table (PQCT), Operation Standards, and Manufacturing Quality Standard (MQS). You will also assure problem containment of parts if quality issues arise, support and lead NARS report correlation, and perform in-depth analysis related to the production process.

**Key Accountabilities**

- Utilize technical expertise to ensure supplier parts meet drawing and specifications

- Evaluate and understand part FMEA, PQCT, Operation Standards, and MQS

- Assure problem containment of parts if quality issues arise

- Support and lead NARS report correlation

- Perform in-depth analysis related to the production process

- Develop and confirm sort operation standards

- Work with sorting contractors and suppliers to provide direction concerning quality issues

- Mentor new associates within the group on problem-solving, procedures, and fostering development

**Qualifications, Experience, and Skills**

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent engineering experience

- 2 years of experience based on education and experience

- Quality assurance, blueprint reading, part measurement, Catia/3D, MS Office, negotiation, and communication skills

- Application of Honda Philosophy
