## Description

We are seeking a Customer Assistant to join our team on a part-time, fixed-term basis. As a Customer Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store is ready for customers, maintaining a clean and tidy environment, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare the store for the day ahead by restocking shelves and ensuring the workspace is tidy

- Collect and move stock safely from the warehouse to the shop floor

- Work across different parts of the store, including chilled and frozen areas

- Use equipment, handsets, and digital systems to complete tasks accurately and safely

- Provide support in other areas when needed, such as picking online orders or serving customers at checkouts

Requirements:

- Friendly and welcoming demeanor with a genuine enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service

- Ability to work in a physically demanding role and adapt to the disruption caused by working overnight

- Committed team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is willing to support colleagues

- Flexibility and willingness to work across the store and take on new challenges

- Open to learning and developing new skills to improve our service

- Confidence in using new digital tools and technology
