## Description

At CVS Health, you will have the opportunity to apply your pharmacy school knowledge in a real-world setting as a 3rd Year Pharmacy Intern. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to complete a comprehensive training roadmap, gaining hands-on experience and developing your skills in preparation for a Pharmacist role.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations, prompt prescription filling, and excellent patient service

- Apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice

- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap, including Key Learning Experiences (KLEs), activities, and time with leaders in your district

- Develop skills in areas such as patient counseling, medical questioning, and prescription management

- Contribute to a positive patient experience, showing empathy and genuine care

- Work effectively as part of the pharmacy team, using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices

- Participate in inventory management and other pharmacy tasks as directed

Requirements:

- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy

- Valid intern and/or technician licensure (or in the process of obtaining)

- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends

- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe

- Strong attention and focus, with ability to pivot quickly between tasks

- Excellent customer service and team orientation skills

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

- Mathematical reasoning and problem-solving abilities

- Physical demands, including mobility, lifting, and standing for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications:

- 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting

- Ability to become immunization certified

- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
