## Description

The Senior Manager, Business Risk provides support to RBC Wealth Management (WM) Canada's Operational Risk management leadership, by providing expertise, advice and counsel, enhancing management's ability to anticipate and manage operational risks effectively.

This role involves leading operational risk/regulatory compliance reviews, providing expert feedback on the operational risk impact of major change initiatives, process improvements, and transformational projects.

Key responsibilities include:

- Executing Risk & Control Assessments (RCSAs)

- Performing Operational Risk program elements

- Acting as Line of Business Head Delegate to support controls

- Managing critical evidence, archives and reference material

- Performing management-requested reviews, innovation/change projects, and ad-hoc reporting

The successful candidate will have:

- Professional designation in Risk and/or Finance such as an MBA, CPA, CFA

- 5-8 years of combined knowledge, skill, and background in Operational Risk practices, Audit, or Compliance functions

- University Degree and recognized Industry Qualifications

- Strong problem solving, analytical and research skills

- Ability to deal effectively with senior management and multiple stakeholders

Nice-to-have skills include:

- Excellent knowledge of Wealth Management and RBC's products, processes, and organization

- Strong knowledge of wealth advisory, investment management, and financial planning front-office and back-office activities

- Experience in securities operations within one or more businesses in WM or comparable businesses
