## Description

We are seeking a Vice President, Fintech & Merchants Lead to join our team in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This role is a key member of the AR + UY leadership team and is responsible for developing the fintech, retail, and commerce sector.

The selected candidate will be expected to drive the vision, strategy, and execution for their segment, managing a team of account managers, and working through our regional/global teams to drive results and achieve objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

- Growing revenue by identifying and pursuing opportunities with new or existing customers/markets across the Fintech and Merchants (Retail & Commerce) segments in Argentina & Uruguay markets

- Focusing on growing market share, the number of customer touch points, and Mastercard's regional footprint

- Setting sales strategy aligned with geography and segment strategy for Fintech and Merchants customers

- Managing pipeline at the segment level

- Leading the development and execution of segment growth strategies to accelerate digital payments, commercial opportunities, and ecosystem expansion across Argentina and Uruguay

The ideal candidate will have:

- In-depth experience executing and managing business development strategies for large or complex countries/regions/industry verticals

- A track record of achieving business development targets and building customer relationships through customer sales

- Demonstrated success introducing existing and new/emerging solutions into various Mastercard countries/regions/industry verticals

- Strong experience working with Fintech, Retail, Commerce, Acquiring, Payments, or Digital Commerce organizations

- Proven ability to build and manage executive-level relationships across diverse customer segments and ecosystems
