## Description

The Oncology MSL Manager, Oncology Medical is a people leadership role responsible for building, developing, and leading an Oncology MSL team within Japan Oncology Medical.

Key objectives include:

- Developing and executing a field medical strategy aligned with Disease Area (DA) Heads

- Driving excellence in scientific engagement with key external experts (KEEs) and stakeholders

- Ensuring strong medical governance and compliance oversight across all MSL activities

- Demonstrating leadership in fostering a high-performing MSL team

Responsibilities:

- Accountable for development and execution of the Field Medical Strategy in partnership with DA Heads

- Lead and develop high-performing Oncology MSL team, collaborating with DA Heads

- Drive high-quality external scientific engagement with KEEs

- Provide medical insights into Oncology Medical Strategy

- Ensure compliance with GSK governance, JPMA codes, MHLW regulations and GCP requirements

- Act as a leader within the Japan Oncology Medical Leadership Team

Requirements:

- Proven people leadership capabilities

- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills

- Results-oriented mindset with high ethical standards and integrity

- Deep understanding of pharmaceutical governance and compliance in Japan

- Significant experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry

- Demonstrated leadership of Medical Affairs teams or functions

- Strong experience in Oncology therapeutic areas

- Experience supporting Oncology product launches

- Solid understanding of the Japanese healthcare environment

- BSc or equivalent advanced scientific degree

- Fluency in Japanese and English
