## Description

We are seeking a Physical Therapist for our Inpatient Rehabilitation locations. As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate patients, establish patient care plans, and provide patient and family education.

**Essential Functions:**

- Evaluate patients and develop care plans, including modalities, procedures, exercise programs, and patient education.

- Gather and interpret data from medical records, physician reports, and patients/families.

- Document evaluations, tests, progress notes, and discharge notes.

- Re-evaluate patients as needed and modify goals and treatment plans.

- Communicate with physicians, referral sources, and clinical staff.

- Provide patient and family education on deficits, progress, and therapeutic techniques.

- Direct and supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, Technicians, students, and volunteers.

**Physical Requirements:**

- Hearing and vision adequate for communication and reading.

- Intelligible speech and adequate language/cognitive skills.

- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, kneel, twist, bend, crouch, crawl, and reach overhead.

- Lift patients, equipment, or supplies up to 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.

- Lateral transfer of patients up to 100 pounds.

**Education, Experience, and Certifications:**

- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

- Applicable state license for Physical Therapy.

- CPR Certification and BLS required.
