## Description

HPS Investment Partners, a part of BlackRock, is seeking a Vice President to join the Fund Accounting team in Mumbai, India. The successful candidate will manage a group of Fund Accounting Analysts and Associates, overseeing the review and reconciliation of fund books and records.

Responsibilities include:

- Monthly and quarterly closing of fund books with administrators

- Management fee and incentive fee waterfall calculation and review

- Review of partners' capital statements and capital call and distribution calculations

- Preparation and review of quarterly and annual GAAP financial statements

- Ad hoc reporting and projects

- Interaction with internal clients, stakeholders, external administrators, and auditors

- Management and oversight of the day-to-day Fund Accounting function and team members

The ideal candidate will have 8-15 years of relevant experience in an accounting role, preferably in the financial services industry, asset management, or alternative investment sector. An accounting degree and CPA certification are preferred.
