## Description

We are seeking a Supply Chain Associate to support the procurement and logistics functions of our Country Office and the AFDB-funded Sudan Integrated Social Sector Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project (SISSIRP).

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Receiving and consolidating procurement requisition forms

- Assisting with complex purchases

- Preparing tender documents and soliciting bids

- Monitoring the status of open requisitions and following up on deliveries

- Reviewing vendor invoices and preparing payment requests

- Creating and maintaining records of procurement documentation

- Conducting market surveys to identify new suppliers

- Providing technical guidance to staff on procurement procedures

- Performing tasks related to property and asset management, warehousing, insurance, maintenance, and transportation

- Coordinating fleet operations activities

- Providing training and guidance to junior SCM staff

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field

- Three years of relevant professional experience

- Experience in procurement and logistics, working with vendors and service providers, and asset management

- High level of computer literacy

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- Fluency in English and Arabic
