## Description

We are seeking a Health & Safety Administrator to support the Health and Safety Officer in coordinating and implementing the delivery of Health, Safety and Risk strategies at our facility in Elland, West Yorkshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Maintaining the Health & Safety Management System folder

- Collating H&S incidents from Datix reports

- Redirecting general enquiries to members of the health and safety team

- Dealing with telephone queries and taking messages

- Maintaining the Hospital Wide Action Plan spreadsheet

- Administering Health & Safety Flash alerts

- Recording and administering health and safety training

- Advising the Health and Safety Manager on actions or risk assessments

- Taking minutes and distributing them to relevant parties

- Assisting with monthly hospital-wide health and safety monitoring inspections and audits

- Coordinating safety training and monitoring training percentages

- Administering and collating compliance information for relevant committees

The ideal candidate will have:

- A good standard of secondary education with demonstrable literacy and numeracy skills

- IOSH Managing Safely / IOSH Working Safely course

- At least 3 years administration experience

- Previous experience working in the healthcare industry or a similar customer-orientated organisation
