## Description

ICON is seeking a Sr Director, Project Delivery (Cardiovascular) to lead the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they meet organisational goals and client expectations.

As a Director of Project Delivery (DPD), you will be responsible for three main functions:

- Business Development: using your expertise to improve delivery, profitability, quality, and client satisfaction

- Leadership: mentoring and setting up your team for success

- Innovation: identifying opportunities to improve the Project Management Group

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing and implementing project delivery strategies and methodologies

- Leading and managing project teams

- Overseeing project performance and managing risks

- Collaborating with stakeholders to define project requirements and scope

- Ensuring adherence to project management best practices

- Staying updated on industry trends and emerging practices

- Providing strategic leadership and guidance to support project execution and business objectives

Requirements:

- Extensive cross-functional project management experience

- Typically 15+ years of relevant experience

- Demonstrated experience in leading teams through process and system development

- Experienced mentor

- Project Management experience in a CRO environment

- Undergraduate degree in health sciences or international equivalent degree

- English fluency

- Travel of up to 25% required

Preferred qualifications:

- Advanced degree (M.S., Ph.D., M.D.)

- Project Management experience within a sponsor environment

- Business related course work
