## Description

As the Principal AI Runtime & Performance Lead, you will be responsible for leading AI runtime architecture, performance optimization, and xPU execution strategy. You will design end-to-end technology solutions to support business strategy and objectives, develop innovative technology solutions to scale the business efficiently, and focus on software development and operational excellence using Agile and lean practices.

**Responsibilities**

- Define runtime architecture

- Lead performance optimization efforts

- Drive benchmark methodology

- Develop model execution strategies

- Play a critical role in building software development projects and platforms while aligning them with business and security strategies and requirements

- Lead the building of standards, designs, and automate the deployment of software

- Drive technology strategy and engineering roadmaps around software engineering

- Assist supervisors with project development, including documentation of features, recording of progress, and creation of the testing plan

- Convert business concepts into next-generation applications and tools, utilizing adaptive agile methodologies to deliver a minimal viable product to the business

- Assist in scheduling, determining manpower requirements, and estimating costs to project completion

- Contribute innovative ideas and may lead large cross-functional teams, exercising independent judgment to solve unique and complex problems impacting the business

- Act as a functional manager within your area of expertise, developing strategy and setting functional policy and direction

- Provide mentorship and guidance to lower-level employees

**Education & Experience Recommended**

- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline

- Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in software designing & development, software architecture, programming languages, or a related field
