## Description

As a Runner at Soho House's Electric House X Speedboat Bar in West London, you will play a vital supporting role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of service between the kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Your main responsibility is to assist the waiting staff and ensure members receive a superior experience. You will deliver food orders from the kitchen or drinks orders from the bar to members' tables, acting as a point of contact between the kitchen/bar and the floor.

Key duties include:

- Delivering food and drinks promptly

- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation across the service areas

- Providing service to and being accountable for an assigned section

- Developing relationships with members to provide personalised service

- Polishing cutlery and preparing table additions in advance

- Performing opening and closing procedures

- Ensuring all service equipment is handled carefully and stored correctly

We are looking for someone with:

- 2-3 years of experience in a similar high-end dining environment

- Excellent food and beverage knowledge, including wine service

- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a hands-on approach

- Confident, polished, and professional demeanour

- Exceptional communication and organisational skills

- Familiarity with POS systems and reservation software
