## Description

Spire Healthcare Ltd is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Outpatients team on the bank at Spire Thames Valley Hospital. As a Bank Registered Nurse - Outpatients, you will play an important role in delivering safe, high-quality care across a varied outpatient caseload.

You will work closely with Consultants and multidisciplinary colleagues, carrying out patient assessments, supporting clinics and procedures, performing ECGs and undertaking wound care, including minor operations dressings. You will help ensure every patient receives a professional, efficient and positive experience whilst maintaining the high clinical standards expected within our hospital.

This role offers variety, autonomy and regular patient interaction, making it ideal for a nurse who enjoys a fast-paced outpatient environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care.

**Main duties of the job**

- Assess patients' health and wellbeing across a varied outpatient caseload.

- Deliver safe, effective and compassionate patient care.

- Support Consultants and nursing colleagues during outpatient clinics and procedures.

- Perform ECGs and support patients undergoing diagnostic investigations.

- Undertake wound care, including post-operative and minor operations dressings.

- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.

- Recognise and respond appropriately to changes in a patient's condition.

- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes.
