## Description

We are seeking an experienced Investment Banking & Capital Markets professional to join our team in Tokyo. You will be part of the IBCM division, which provides integrated products and industry sector coverage, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory and debt capital markets activities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Support origination and execution of IB business, with a strong focus on M&A

- Conduct due diligence of clients and markets

- Handle deal documentation and internal approvals

- Participate in marketing efforts, including preparation of client presentations and pitches

- Manage day-to-day client queries on all execution-related matters

- Attend client meetings independently

**Requirements:**

- At least 9 years of relevant experience

- Strong origination capabilities in M&A and capital raising transactions, with a focus on insurance company coverage within the FIG sector

- Established senior-level relationships and access to key decision-makers at insurance companies

- Fluent in English and Japanese

- Highly motivated and self-driven, with the ability to multitask across clients, projects, and geographies

- Strong quantitative skills, including extensive experience in financial modeling and valuation techniques

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively and articulate complex ideas to demanding clients

- Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows, and solve business problems
