## Description

Role: Account Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to provide post-sales support to clients of Global Banking and Markets (GBM) and Commercial Banking (CMB) through the entire range of products offered by Global Payments Solutions (GPS). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end customer service process, ensuring a positive and professional onboarding experience and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the management of the customer service process from start to finish, ensuring a positive and professional onboarding experience and customer service.

- Apply professional and technical knowledge to provide solid and credible observations and recommendations.

- Understand and explain which products and channels apply to specific customers.

- Collaborate actively with colleagues at HSBC to ensure that customer needs are resolved at the first point of contact.

- Contribute to the understanding of customer needs to improve the value proposition for existing customers.

- Ensure fair results for customers and ensure that personal conduct contributes to the orderly and transparent functioning of financial markets.

- Contribute to the development and implementation of a customer-centric risk management culture.

Portfolio Scope: You will be assigned a portfolio of corporate clients from Global Corporate (GC) for day-to-day support, focusing on GPS treasury products and Electronic Banking.

Requirements/Competencies:

- Strong problem-solving skills.

- Empathy and customer service mindset.

- Ability to work under pressure.

- Knowledge of electronic channels (e-channels) and GPS products (desirable).

- Intermediate to advanced English language skills.

- Assertive communication skills.

- Good judgment to escalate complex and sensitive issues (salaries, urgent payments, etc.).
