## Description

We are seeking a Lead Level Artist to join our team at Ubisoft Annecy. As a Lead Level Artist, you will be responsible for the quality, consistency, and artistic execution of environments produced by the World team.

You will work closely with the World Lead to organise, support, and develop the Level Art team to transform the artistic, technical, and gameplay vision into readable, credible, and technically mastered environments.

Key responsibilities:

- Manage the Level Art team, organising work and defining production priorities

- Support, develop, and provide regular feedback to artists

- Ensure team culture is based on autonomy, responsibility, and knowledge sharing

- Identify production risks and propose solutions

- Collaborate with the Lead Level Design to ensure design intent, gameplay experience, and visual realisation align

- Work with the Technical Direction to integrate technical constraints, production tools, and methods

Requirements:

- Confirmed experience in managing an artistic team in AAA production

- Ability to lead a team towards common goals

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Strong expertise in creating video game environments

- Understanding of composition, materials, colour, volume, and environmental storytelling

- Sensitivity to space readability, visual transitions, and environment continuity
