## Description

The Enterprise Services Team at Cabinet Office Digital is seeking a Delivery Technical Engineer to join their team.

The role involves supporting large-scale infrastructure projects, managing smaller IT deployments, and transitioning new solutions into Live Service.

Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects

- Serving as the technical point of contact for project rollouts

- Imaging, configuring, deploying, and maintaining Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS devices

- Managing user access, creating login accounts, and scheduling deployments

- Delivering remote and hands-on user training and technical onboarding support

- Managing rapid-delivery business unit moves and office relocations

- Conducting office site surveys, decommissioning IT hardware, and setting up new locations

- Installing and testing active infrastructure components, AV/VC equipment, and printing solutions

- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, and network connectivity issues

- Proactively taking ownership of technical problems and resolving them

- Following established escalation pathways for unresolved issues

- Producing and maintaining technical documentation

- Championing internal knowledge sharing to strengthen team capabilities

The ideal candidate will have:

- Hands-on experience with Windows OS, macOS, Android, and iOS devices

- Experience with MDM tools like Microsoft Intune, Workspace ONE, or Jamf

- Skills in installing active Infrastructure components and network connectivity

- Exposure to project environments and deskside support experience

- Exceptional customer service, relationship management, and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Experience with Audio/Visual, Video Conferencing, and network printing systems

- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize a busy workload

The salary for this role is GBP 49,458 - 53,629 per year.
