## Description

The SupplyPlatform team at Lyft develops robust architectural platforms and foundational features to empower Lyft's global growth. We are seeking a highly motivated software engineering professional to advance the platform infrastructure supporting autonomous vehicles, premium offerings, taxi integration, and international expansion.

As a Software Engineer for SupplyPlatform team, you'll be responsible for enhancing the platform to support partner teams, making tradeoffs between technical investments and product work, and collaborating with other engineers on system design. You will work with a group of talented engineers and help the team to deliver significant business impact.

## Responsibilities:

- Help establish roadmap and architecture based on technology and understanding of customer needs

- Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code

- Can help lead large projects from idea to positive execution

- Unblock, support and communicate with external and internal partners to achieve results

- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge

- Share your knowledge by giving brown bags, tech talks, and promoting appropriate tech and engineering best practices

## Experience:

- 3+ years of software engineering experience with high-level programming languages; experience with Python and Go is a plus.

- BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

- Strong background in distributed systems, and proficient in relational or NoSQL databases.

- Proven experience in designing, debugging, and managing fault-tolerant, highly available, large-scale distributed systems.

- Experience working with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, etc.)

- Nice to have: proficiency in AI toolings (Claude code, Cursor, etc).
