## Description

Working as a Style Consultant at Target means being part of a team that helps families discover the joy of everyday life. You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience, driving sales, and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.

As a Style Consultant, your typical day will include:

- Executing visual standards and inspirational signage to drive sales and create a guest-ready floorpad

- Leveraging store tools to understand sales, inventory, and guest shopping patterns

- Sorting and processing freight, and locating merchandise in the backroom

- Setting visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales

- Maintaining product availability and a full floorpad

- Supporting guest services, such as backup cashiering and order pickup

- Working in a safe manner and complying with all safety policies and procedures

To succeed in this role, you should have:

- Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories

- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members

- Ability to communicate effectively and operate technology equipment

- Effective communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment

In terms of physical demands, you should be able to:

- Accurately handle cash register operations

- Climb up and down ladders

- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely

- Lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds occasionally

- Work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements
