## Description

As a Paraprofessional with CNA at The Menta Education Group, you will work closely with classroom instructors and staff to provide targeted teaching and support to students in the classroom, as well as general support for all students in the school.

**Staff Hours:** 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, following a 10-Month School Calendar. You will be compensated with a hourly wage of USD 17.97-27.06.

### Responsibilities

- Provide CNA Support to special needs students and medical assistance.

- Manage classroom behaviors and report behavioral concerns to appropriate staff.

- Implement and maintain behavioral program policies and data.

- Maintain classroom order and safety, providing general supervision of students.

- Assist in preventing and managing incidents of non-compliance and escalation in behavior.

- Respond to emergency situations and provide interventions to manage behaviors.

- Think quickly, independently, and tactfully.

### Qualifications

- Certified CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or Medical Assistant experience.

- Experience with diapering/toileting assistance.

- Ability to use a Hoyer Lift.

- Experience working with high-risk special needs students.

- Military veterans are encouraged to apply.

- Ability to operate tactfully under stress and flexibility to adapt to changing routines.

- At least 23 years of age.
