## Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Redmond, Washington. As a senior engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and operating developer productivity, CI/CD, or release engineering systems. You will have significant experience with Microsoft Azure (or AWS/GCP with strong Azure proficiency) and Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform or Bicep.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading infrastructure design and architecture

- Developing and building durable solutions for present and future states

- Owning the technical approach to create and improve architecture

- Guiding cross-functional teams through architectural discussions and decision-making for solution components

- Developing and presenting architecture and design proposals

- Driving AKS enablement and workload onboarding

- Driving cross-cutting platform initiatives

- Authoring well-designed, scalable, reliable code

- Collaborating with partner teams

- Mentoring other engineers throughout the design and testing process

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field

- 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

- Significant experience designing, building, and operating developer productivity, CI/CD, or release engineering systems

- Strong proficiency in modern CI/CD and release engineering practices

- Experience owning and supporting CI/CD pipelines used by multiple engineering teams

- Experience operating large-scale, globally distributed, highly available, 24/7 systems

- Proficiency in modern software development practices

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
