## Description

The marine industry supports recreation, global commerce, and national defense. Arc is on a mission to electrify the marine industry by rethinking powertrains, software, and vessel designs.

We are seeking a Staff Global Supply Manager, Commercial Programs to own the supply base for assigned commodities from sourcing through ramp and into steady-state production.

**Responsibilities:**

- Develop and execute sourcing strategy for assigned categories, including make vs. buy, dual-sourcing, and long-term capacity planning.

- Lead RFQs end to end: build should-cost models, compare quotes on total landed cost, and recommend suppliers to cross-functional stakeholders.

- Secure pricing, payment terms, tooling ownership, IP protection, and capacity commitments that support cost, quality, and delivery targets.

- Work with Engineering, Quality, and Production from early design through ramp: give DFM and cost feedback, plan tooling and first-article builds, and ensure supply is ready before each program milestone.

- Identify and mitigate disruption risk across geopolitical, tariff, capacity, and single-source exposure, and maintain contingency plans for critical parts.

- Own supplier scorecards and KPIs and run corrective action and supplier development where needed.

- Help establish the processes, tools, and data standards that let us scale without adding chaos.

- Hold commodity-level cost targets and forecasts, and report cost, risk, and savings to leadership.

- Travel: Up to 25%, including domestic and international supplier visits.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- 7+ years in global sourcing, procurement, or supply management.

- Experience sourcing complex electromechanical or discrete manufactured products in a hardware company.

- Track record negotiating supplier contracts and delivering measurable cost, quality, or delivery results.

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOMs, and to hold technical conversations with engineers and suppliers.

- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and comfort working with data to drive decisions.

**Bonus Qualifications:**

- Experience in EV, battery, marine, automotive, aerospace, or other regulated or high-performance hardware industries.

- Sourcing experience in Asia and/or Europe, plus familiarity with tariffs, customs, and trade compliance.

- Experience with supplier quality processes.

- Data skills beyond Excel.

- Prior experience at a startup or scale-up.

**What we offer:**

- Base salary: $160,000 / $190,000 annually.

- Highly competitive equity grants.

- Semi-annual bonuses tied to your impact.

- Top-tier benefits, including healthcare, parental leave, time off, life and disability insurance, retirement savings, and more.
