## Description

We are seeking a System Administrator I to provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of information technology (IT) systems. The successful candidate will manage IT system infrastructure and processes, provide day-to-day operations support, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, and other IT systems.

Responsibilities:

- Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems

- Manage daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems

- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems

- Assist users in accessing and using IT systems

- Perform account management, configuration management, and implementation of compliance with applicable system security controls

- Conduct periodic vulnerability scans of systems

- Implement IAVA security patches and record patch status

- Provide support for escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers

- Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university

- 4+ years of related experience

- 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity

- 2+ years of experience with Service Management (ITSM)

- ServiceNow System Administrator certification
