## Description

We are looking for a technically sharp and people-focused Platform Engineer to own, scale, and optimize our internal Salesforce platform. As a Platform Engineer, you will be the primary technical owner of our People Salesforce org, balancing KLTO (Keep Lights On) operations with strategic platform improvements. You will work closely with People Operations, People Solutions, GTMS, Corporate Technology, and vendor teams to ensure our Salesforce platform is well-governed, deeply integrated, and continuously improving.

Your responsibilities will include designing, building, and maintaining scalable configurations and customisations within the Salesforce platform, building robust, maintainable declarative solutions, owning and optimising data pipelines and API integrations between Salesforce and core People systems, maintaining strict data privacy standards, and owning the deployment pipeline to ensure smooth, well-tested releases of new HR features.

You will also monitor app health and performance across critical People workflows, triage incidents with urgency and rigour, and implement observability best practices. Additionally, you will build complex reports, dashboards, and CRM Analytics to help the People team track key metrics like case resolution times, employee sentiment, and service delivery performance.

As a member of the People Solutions team, you will translate business requirements into a prioritised Salesforce product roadmap, driving initiatives from discovery through deployment and ensuring our platform evolves ahead of Stripe's growth. You will partner with Global People Operations, People partners, wider People team, Corporate Technology, and other stakeholders to translate complex business needs into scalable technical requirements.

This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should have a deep understanding of HR Service, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud, as well as proficiency with Salesforce Flow, data migration tools, and relational databases.
