## Description

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Acute Care team at Atrium Health Lincoln. As a PRN or weekender, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced clinical environment with a small-town feel and friendly atmosphere.

**Job Summary:** Evaluates patients and establishes appropriate patient care plans, including necessary modalities, procedures, exercise programs, and patient education.

**Responsibilities:**

- Evaluates patients and develops patient care plans

- Gathers and interprets data from medical records, physician reports, and patients/families

- Documents evaluations, tests, progress notes, and discharge notes

- Re-evaluates patients as needed and modifies goals and treatment plans

- Communicates with physicians, referral sources, and clinical staff

- Provides patient and family education

- Directs and supervises Physical Therapist Assistants, Technicians, students, and volunteers

**Physical Requirements:**

- Hearing and vision adequate for communication and reading

- Intelligible speech and adequate language/cognitive skills

- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, kneel, twist, bend, crouch, crawl, and reach overhead

- Lifting of patients, equipment, or supplies up to 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally

**Education, Experience, and Certifications:**

- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

- Applicable state license for Physical Therapy

- CPR Certification and BLS required
