## Description

Capital One’s Audit function is a dedicated group of professionals focused on delivering top-quality assurance services to the organisation’s Audit Committee. You will be part of the Compliance and Privacy Audit team, conducting operational and compliance audit projects and supporting the annual audit plan.

Responsibilities:

- Perform risk-based reviews and assessments of compliance with federal, state, and other legal regulations and business activities.

- Communicate issues, risks, and recommendations to all levels of management.

- Operate independently and ensure work is completed according to schedule and meets high-quality standards.

- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key business partners and the extended Audit group.

- Leverage available data and analytical tools during audit delivery.

- Follow-up on agreed audit actions to ensure management delivers their commitments.

- Seek out learning opportunities to enhance skills and competencies.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree or military experience

- At least 2 years of experience in auditing, accounting, risk management, compliance, or a combination

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Risk Compliance Manager (CRCM), or relevant certification

- 2+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or a professional services firm

- At least 1 year of experience with data analytics tools

The salary ranges for this role are:

- Charlotte, NC: $87,700 - $100,100

- McLean, VA: $96,500 - $110,100

- New York, NY: $105,300 - $120,100

- Plano, TX: $87,700 - $100,100

- Richmond, VA: $87,700 - $100,100

This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation.
