## Description

We are seeking a Vice President to join our TMT Corporate Banking team in New York. The successful candidate will lead relationship management efforts for West Coast technology clients, delivering the full suite of global treasury and corporate banking products.

The role involves establishing and nurturing profitable partnerships with corporate and individual clients, identifying their financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance, and designing customised solutions to address their specific needs.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing client relationships to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement

- Researching and understanding the client's industry trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment

- Designing customised solutions that incorporate a range of products and services from the bank's portfolio

- Communicating the value proposition of proposed solutions and negotiating terms that are beneficial for both the client and the bank

- Providing guidance to clients to support their financial decisions and offering expert investment advice

The ideal candidate will have:

- Corporate finance expertise with ample credit skills

- Experience with global transaction banking, liquidity, FX, derivatives, and cross-currency products

- Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data platforms

- Ability to prepare client pitch materials and present the full suite of corporate banking solutions

In addition to the above, some other highly valued skills may include:

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Thoughtful, analytical, and detail-oriented approach

- Ability to coach and develop junior bankers

- Effective relationship management and presentation capabilities

As a Vice President at Barclays, you will be expected to contribute to setting strategy, driving requirements, and making recommendations for change. You will also be expected to demonstrate the Barclays Values of Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Stewardship.

The salary range for this role is $145,000 - $215,000 per year.
