## Description

We are seeking a part-time nights Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Alta View Hospital. As a professional caregiver, you will assume responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients.

**Essential Functions:**

- Assess patients' physical, social, and psychological status

- Plan and develop individualised care plans

- Implement and direct interdisciplinary care teams

- Evaluate patient responses to interventions

- Promote the nursing profession and participate in development of others

**Requirements:**

- Current licence to practise as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice

- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers

- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four years of their hire date

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)

- More than 1 year of licensed RN experience

**Physical Requirements:**

- Ongoing need to see and read information, labels, and assess patient needs

- Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors

- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment

- Expected to lift and utilise full range of movement to transfer patients
