## Description

We are seeking a Host to join our team at Soho House New York.

As a Host, you will be one of the first points of contact for members, guests, and staff before they are seated for their dining experience.

Responsibilities:

- Greet guests and create a welcoming atmosphere

- Answer high-volume phone lines and respond to inquiries about menus, hours of operation, and amenities

- Create reservations for the Club or F&B Operations/Restaurants

- Provide excellent service to all guests, members, and staff

- Train other reception team members on process and service standards

- Master our phone system and ensure all anticipated covers are accounted for during service

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3+ years' experience in a similar role

- Experience with OpenTable and MICROS

- Ability to answer high-volume phone lines and respond to inquiries professionally

- Problem-solving skills and conflict resolution

- Detail-oriented, articulate, and able to multi-task in a high-volume environment

- Strong communication skills and ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions

- Flexible schedule and ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
