## Description

Spire Harrogate Clinic is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join their busy imaging team on a bank basis. The successful candidate will provide exemplary patient care and examination, working within set protocols in the diagnostic imaging department.

**Responsibilities:**

- Undertake routine tasks related to individuals' health and wellbeing

- Assess the health and wellbeing needs of people with relatively stable and consistent needs

- Establish and maintain communication with people on routine care matters

- Develop own and others' personal development

- Monitor and maintain health and safety and security for self and others

- Contribute to the implementation of services

- Promote people's equality, diversity, and rights

- Collect, collate, and report routine and simple data and information

- Assist in the application of technology for measurement, monitoring, and treatment

- Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility in prevention and control

- Assist in maintaining agreed stock levels of consumable items

- Prepare and assist with general and specialised procedures, including biopsies

- Ensure a clean and hygienic working environment

- Prepare patients for treatment

- Be involved in the manual handling of patients

- Recognise equipment faults and report them immediately

- Undertake basic maintenance of equipment

**Requirements:**

- Previous experience of working in an Imaging Department

- Administrative experience involving checking and monitoring

- Customer-focused

- Awareness of Health and Safety and hygiene
