## Description

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, North Alabama. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

**Responsibilities**

- Review and implement processes to ensure compliance with customer requirements

- Oversee quality data and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement

- Work with program managers and engineers to support program requirements

- Ensure CDRL compliances

- Prepare monthly slide show presentations

- Conduct meetings for status and failure analysis

- Track program quality metrics through Power BI and other reporting software

- Approve final data packages prior to delivery

- Disposition NCR's and report to management and the customer

- Ensure root cause and corrective actions on nonconformances are completed

- Propose change notes to drawings based on past metric data

- Perform quality inspection duties as required

**Requirements**

- BS degree and 8 years of relevant experience or master's with 4 years of prior relevant experience

- Electrical, mechanical, or machining experience in a manufacturing environment

- At least 8 years of quality experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 system or equivalent experience in DOD, aerospace, or automotive manufacturing quality control

- Knowledge of automated inspection processes, PFMEA's, control plans, and advance product quality planning

- Experience with internal and external suppliers

- Resident of North Alabama or willing to relocate to Huntsville, North Alabama

- US citizen with a secret clearance

**Preferred Qualifications**

- CQE certification

- Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations

- Six Sigma certified (yellow, green, or black belt)

- Heavy electrical and test experience

**Pay Range**: $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
