## Description

The Hardware Group at Cisco is seeking a Hardware Engineer to join their team. As a Hardware Engineer, you will assist with the design and validation of a server sub-system, ensure design meets functional specs, work independently on assigned tasks, and participate as a valuable team member to deliver quality products on time.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with the design and validation of a server sub-system

- Ensure design meets functional specs

- Work independently on assigned tasks

- Participate as a valuable team member to deliver quality products on time

- Participate in cross-functional meetings and teams

- Participate in creating functional specifications and technical documentation

Minimum Qualifications:

- A Bachelor's degree in Hardware Engineering, Engineering or a related field

- Experience in hardware validation using lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, and Spectrum Analyzers

- Experience creating test scripts in Python

- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with PCIe adapters (GPUs, DPUs, NICs) and switches

- Familiarity with design tools such as Cadence Concept and Allegro

- Experience with shipping products

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
