## Description

We are seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to maintain a safe and secure shopping environment and lead the security team. The successful candidate will deliver excellence by establishing and enforcing robust security policies and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Support the Soft Services Manager in operational HR responsibilities to recruit, retain and develop the security team.

- Manage staff attendance & absence records in conjunction with company policies and procedures.

- Ensure rota is up to date and manpower coverage is maintained and all team members complete required shifts and duty hours as detailed on the duty rota.

- Deliver to all new starters a formal induction and site-specific training.

- Ensure objectives, performance reviews and Toolbox Talks are completed as per company policy.

- Identify training needs and ensure accurate site records are always maintained.

- Support the Soft Services Manager to ensure the necessary security audits are undertaken and any non-compliance highlighted and managed to completion.

- Manage excellent relationships with our client, our suppliers, and other partners.

- Deal efficiently and effectively with all emergencies including fire, ensuring the Centre team are kept fully informed.

- Lead the Security Team when dealing with incidents.

- Support and provide guidance to other site-based/centre staff.

- Liaise closely with statutory authorities, dealing with incidents and the provision of information.

**Requirements:**

- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

- Strong communication skills both written and verbal in English.

- Team leading experience with the overseeing the day-to-day running of the security team within a similar environment.

- High level of attention to detail & customer care awareness.

- Familiar with patrolling and monitoring from a loss prevention aspect.

- Confident in complying with Health & Safety and fire prevention procedures.

- SIA Guarding or Door Supervisor license.

- SIA CCTV license or the willingness to work towards.
