## Description

As a Control Systems Engineer at 3M, you will collaborate with innovative colleagues worldwide to design and develop control system solutions for automated process equipment.

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role:

- Provide effective control system solutions to new and existing automated process equipment

- Work as a team to develop and design the control system architecture

- Select hardware and provide software to run new process equipment

- Collaborate in a team environment to meet project milestones

Your Skills and Expertise:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or higher from an NBA-accredited institution

- Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and/or DeltaV control systems and hardware

- Proficient with PLC programming

- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed:

- Three years of experience working with machine control system design and commissioning

- Experience with automation and/or robotics

- Knowledge of United States National Electric Code regulations (NFPA 70)

- Experience with industrial process controls, including drives and measuring devices

- Team player with the ability to contribute in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment
