## Description

We are seeking an Assistant Consultant to join our Strategic Asset Management team in London. As an Assistant Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, engaging with various clients and government authorities. Your role will involve client engagement, project management, reviewing asset condition data, and providing technical assurance.

Responsibilities:

- Engage with clients to understand their needs and translate them into clear solutions

- Manage projects to ensure timely delivery within budget and to a high standard

- Review asset condition data to support asset management planning

- Provide technical assurance for lifecycle renewal activities, focusing on health, safety, and the environment

Requirements:

- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering with experience in the highways sector

- Professional qualification with a recognised institution or working towards one

- Understanding of the strategic road network and asset management

- Specialism in at least one asset type, preferably highway bridges and structures

- Competency in managing asset data and developing forward plans

- Knowledge of design delivery processes and technical assurance

- Ability to travel to site and/or client offices, including remote locations
