The Operations Advisor will be responsible for building and continuously improving team effectiveness and achievement of business results within a self-directed work group. This position will provide technical guidance as they support day-to-day operations including proactive and predictive activities.

**Responsibilities:**

- Facilitate a culture for engaged team members; working in a safe, reliable and efficient environment utilizing OnePSS pillars and practices to foster lean manufacturing;

- Mentor others regarding safety, manufacturing standards, work processes, and lean manufacturing practices;

- Provide day-to-day operational support as well as technical and process troubleshooting support;

- Practice, promote, and coach a culture of peer-to-peer feedback;

- Knowledge management through training, skills development, empowerment and accountability;

- Facilitate localized Gemba walks and support team accountability for adherence to all policies related to the area, the site;

- Work with peer group to allocate resources across multiple units;

- Support and lead collaboration efforts across E2E support functions (Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, Logistics, Safety & Quality) to put the customer at the center of our work;

- Collaborate with the Area to define unit goals, strategic direction, and priorities.

**Required Qualifications:**

- High School Diploma/ GED and 7 years of manufacturing experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of manufacturing experience;

- Knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing Principles to drive focused improvement and sustainable change;

- Strong proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook);

- Strong skills in oral/written communication, time and task management, priority setting, decision making, resource allocation, and informal leadership including coaching, influencing, conflict resolution.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Understanding of the maintenance disciplines;

- Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment.
