## Description

We are seeking a Domiciliary Care Assistant to join our team at Richmond Villages Wood Norton in Evesham. As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you will help residents make the most of life, and in exchange, we will support you in reaching your full career potential.

**Job Details:**

- Location: Richmond Villages Wood Norton, Evesham Road, Worcestershire, WR11 4TY

- Employment Type: Full-time

- Days: £13.25 per hour, Nights: £14.58 per hour

- Shifts: 6 hour shifts (08:00-14:00 & 14:00-20:00) and 12-hour shifts (08:00-20:00), including alternate weekends

**Responsibilities:**

- Assisting residents with personal care duties such as bathing, dressing, and continence care in their own homes within the Village

- Supporting at mealtimes where appropriate; serving meals in their apartments or within the care home

- Helping to promote mental and physical activity of residents through hobbies, interests, or activities within the village

- Answering emergency calls when care alert system is activated

- Working with the Domiciliary Care Manager and other external professionals such as GPs, Chiropodists, Occupational Therapists, and Physiotherapists where appropriate

- Admin duties: keeping accurate records - maintaining full documentation at all times to show care given, activities, and any changes to their health

**Requirements:**

- Experience in a care or dementia setting, or a Level 2/3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)

- Passion for caring for others, honouring their choices, and prioritizing their safety and well-being

- Excellent listener with an optimistic attitude, engaging confidently with both residents and their families
