## Description

We are seeking a Chief Engineer to join our EA SPORTS FC Mobile Shanghai team. As a Chief Engineer, you will play a crucial role in system architecture design and lead a team of engineers.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain server-side code to ensure robustness

- Design and implement technical solutions for service encapsulation, framework design, database storage, and data caching

- Supervise server-side tasks and develop tools to ensure smooth game server operation

- Manage projects and tasks related to server architecture and framework implementation

- Troubleshoot complex server-related technical issues

- Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and external partners

- Lead and motivate a team of software engineers to create a collaborative and efficient work environment

- Guide and train team members to promote skill development and career growth

Requirements:

- At least 8 years of server development experience, including at least 3 years of team management experience

- Proficient in at least one programming language such as Java, C++, or Go

- Familiarity with common network protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP, Websocket)

- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Postgres) and non-relational databases (DocumentDB)

- Knowledge of container and serverless technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Linux platform development experience

- Experience with version control software (Perforce, Git)

- Excellent debugging skills

- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is preferred

- Fluent in English
