## Job Overview

We are seeking a Taekwondo Master to join our team at Zeta, a network of schools across the Bronx, Upper Manhattan, and Queens.

## The Role

As a Taekwondo Master, you will deliver exceptional taekwondo instruction that develops students' physical skills, discipline, confidence, and lifelong appreciation for martial arts.

### Key Responsibilities

- Design and deliver structured, developmentally appropriate instruction that develops students' technical skills, physical fitness, confidence, discipline, focus, and respect.

- Build a positive, inclusive learning environment where students develop a genuine love of taekwondo.

- Drive ambitious student and program outcomes, including 100% enrollment across clubs and teams, and 80%+ of students passing unit assessments.

- Prepare students for successful belt advancement throughout the year.

- Lead a high-quality after-school taekwondo program.

- Build authentic relationships with students and families.

- Collaborate with leaders and colleagues, participating in weekly professional development.

- Contribute to whole-school priorities and initiatives.

## Requirements

- Bachelor's degree

- Black Belt in taekwondo, with a 7th–9th Dan rank strongly preferred

- At least 2 years of experience teaching taekwondo

- Deep knowledge of taekwondo technique, forms, sparring, safety, and belt progression

- Passion for developing students' confidence, discipline, focus, and character
