## Description

As a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health, you will apply your didactic learning from pharmacy school into real-world practice to prepare for a Pharmacist role.

Under the direction of your preceptor, you will complete a comprehensive training roadmap designed to give you hands-on experience and an overview of store, district, and regional operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations, prompt and safe prescription filling, and excellent patient service

- Demonstrating empathy and genuine care to patients and colleagues

- Contributing to a safe and inclusive culture where everyone feels valued and empowered

- Completing a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on Key Learning Experiences (KLEs) that build aptitude in various areas, including:

+ Living the company's purpose by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)   + Managing patient health and improving workflow efficiency   + Providing empathetic and personalized patient experiences   + Offering medical guidance and support under licensed pharmacist supervision   + Maintaining high self-awareness and coaching team members   + Participating in inventory management and other tasks as directed

- Supporting immunizations, including obtaining necessary licensure and training, educating patients, monitoring for adverse reactions, and tracking patient information

**Requirements:**

- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy

- Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends

- Ability to complete required training within the designated timeframe

- Strong attention and focus, customer service and team orientation, communication skills, mathematical reasoning, and problem resolution abilities

- Physical demands include mobility, lifting, scanning, and standing for extended periods

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- 1+ year of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service

- Ability to become immunization certified

- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

- Flexibility to work across different locations

**Pay Range:** $20.00 - $23.75
