## Description

Syneos Health is seeking a Medical Writer II (Veeva Vault Technician).

As a Medical Writer II, you will mentor less experienced medical writers on projects, perform end-to-end process related scientific writing, and manage Veeva Vault document management.

Key responsibilities include:

- Mentoring less experienced medical writers on projects

- Performing E2E process related scientific writing, including managing workflow in PubConnect, creating publication plans, author approvals, pre-submission queries, and submission activities

- Managing Veeva Vault documents, including creating placeholders, uploading versions, reference linking, anchoring and linking, and monitoring workflows/task completion

- Reviewing documents intended for Veeva submission and ensuring they are fully MLR-ready

- Compiling, writing, and editing medical writing deliverables

- Developing or supporting various documents, such as clinical journal manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and oral presentations

- Reviewing statistical analysis plans and table/figure/listing specifications

- Interacting with department heads and staff members in data management, biostatistics, regulatory affairs, and medical affairs

- Serving as a peer reviewer on internal review teams

- Adhering to established regulatory standards and company SOPs

- Performing online clinical literature searches

- Continuing professional development to keep pace with regulatory guidance and client expectations

- Staying aware of budget specifications for assigned projects

- Completing required administrative tasks within specified timeframes

- Minimal travel may be required (less than 25%).
