## Description

As a Cook in our Manufacturing site, you'll be providing our hard working colleagues with good hearty meals to look forward to whilst they're at work.

Taking control of planning the menu, including linking it to key events and national celebrations, you'll also prepare and cook the food.

You'll maintain excellent quality, hygiene and food safety standards and will enjoy working at pace whilst delivering tasty meals for our colleagues.

A real focus will be on excellent customer service, in a safe, efficient and hygienic environment.

### Responsibilities

- Planning menus and preparing meals for large volumes of customers (between 200 to 1,500 daily)

- Maintaining excellent quality, hygiene and food safety standards

- Providing excellent customer service in a safe, efficient and hygienic environment

- Working effectively as part of a team

### Requirements

- Experience in cooking a wide variety of dishes to suit a range of dietary requirements, with a focus on healthy and nutritious meals

- Great time management, communication and problem solving skills

- Ideally Food Safety Level 2 and COSHH trained (although we can provide this training if required)
