## Description

Stripe, a financial infrastructure platform, is seeking a Software Engineer. As a key member of the team, you will develop scalable computer systems to manage large volumes of information and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and deploy adaptable rules systems to mitigate financial risk and improve efficiency.

- Build tools to ingest and process signals from various sources for partner teams.

- Participate in software development workflows, from design to large-scale deployment.

- Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.

- Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.

- Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across Stripe's engineering teams.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 4 years of experience in Software Development or a related occupation.

- Experience in Python, Ruby, Objective C, C++, or similar.

- Experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable systems.

- Ability to translate business needs into software requirements and designs.

- Experience debugging production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.

- Experience with distributed systems.
