## Description

As a Technical Director - Electrical (Building Services) at WSP, you will play a crucial role in leading electrical engineering projects and teams across various locations, including Guildford, Feltham, and other sites in the UK.

You will be part of a team of 60 engineers working across Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health specialisms. Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing design and technical advice as a WSP project manager on a wide range of projects

- Supervising the completion of detailed designs and overseeing the work of others

- Leading feasibility studies and producing detailed performance specifications

- Acting as the client's key point of contact and ensuring project delivery meets client expectations and internal KPIs

- Contributing to business development by promoting WSP's capabilities and expertise in the region

- Managing and developing junior staff

The ideal candidate will have:

- A BEng/BSc/MEng in an applicable engineering discipline

- CIBSE/IET/Engineering Council Chartership

- Experience working on MEP Building services projects, particularly with an aviation background

- Strong electrical design skills, including low voltage distribution systems, cable calculations, lighting calculations, and fire detection systems

- Ability to obtain UK vetting level of Security Check (SC)
