## Description

We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at The Lawns Care Home in Chelmsford.

The Lawns Care Home is a welcoming care home that provides nursing, residential, convalescence, respite, and palliative care, as well as support for those living with a physical disability.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of laundry within our home. You will be responsible for washing, drying, ironing, and repairing items of clothing as needed, as well as maintaining linen stocks for day-to-day use around the home.

**Responsibilities:**

- Always maintain high standards of laundry within our home

- Keep our residents' clothes looking and feeling great; wash, dry, iron, and repair items of clothing as needed

- Maintain linen stocks for day-to-day use around the home; raise any issues to the Senior Housekeeper as needed

**Requirements:**

- You take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment

- You are comfortable multitasking and working with other teams to ensure our residents are kept happy in their home
