## Description

We are seeking a Technical Automotive Trainer to join our team at Valvoline Global Operations. As a Technical Automotive Trainer, you will be responsible for providing in-store support, planning and delivering training solutions to maximize Valvoline product growth in our Key & Strategic Accounts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of training and/or sales experience, familiarity with the 'do it for me' (DIFM) automotive or heavy-duty market, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Teams, PPT, Excel, Salesforce.com, and Valvoline DASH.

Responsibilities:

- Provide in-store support, including classroom training and virtual training

- Plan, prepare, and schedule training sessions to deliver appropriate training solutions

- Support new program launches and onboarding new rooftops

- Assist in training new team members

- Deliver store and area level Valvoline Insights & Analytics to drive increase in organic sales results

- Prepare for next role within Valvoline, such as Account Executive, Sales, or Team Leader

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of training experience

- High School Diploma required, BA Degree preferred or equivalent experience

- Familiarity with DIFM automotive or heavy-duty market experience

- Strong track record of training and/or sales experience

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Teams, PPT, Excel

- Working knowledge of Salesforce.com and Valvoline DASH

This role is based in either Des Moines, IA or Omaha, NE, and requires the ability to travel up to 80% of the time, including frequent overnights.
