## Description

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Sr. Associate Director, Data and Analytics.

Principal responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end technical delivery from discovery and design through build, testing, release, and production support.

- Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and engineering teams to convert requirements into practical and scalable solutions.

- Provide technical leadership across architecture decisions, solution design, implementation planning, and engineering standards.

- Oversee the design and development of services and applications using Python and Java in enterprise environments.

- Define and govern integration patterns, API strategy, security controls, observability, resilience, and performance requirements.

- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles, risk controls, and software engineering best practices.

- Drive delivery planning, dependency management, environment strategy, release readiness, and support models.

- Review solution designs and code to ensure maintainability, extensibility, and operational stability.

- Champion modern engineering practices including CI/CD, automated testing, code quality controls, and container/cloud deployment patterns where applicable.

- Identify and manage technical risks, trade-offs, and issues with clear documentation and stakeholder communication.

- Mentor engineers and foster a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.

- Coordinate across teams to align target architecture, delivery sequencing, and reuse of common capabilities.

Requirements:

- Strong experience in software engineering and technical delivery leadership in complex enterprise environments.

- Solid development experience in Python and Java.

- Proven track record in solution and application architecture, including distributed systems and service-oriented design.

- Experience delivering scalable, resilient, and secure applications in production.

- Strong background in API and microservice design, system integration, and event-driven or service-based architectures.

- Good understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery, release management, and production support practices.

- Practical experience with non-functional requirements including performance, reliability, recoverability, monitoring, and security.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities across delivery execution, governance, and strategic change.

- Strong problem-solving mindset with pragmatic decision-making in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries.

- Familiarity with cloud-native architecture and container orchestration platforms.

- Experience with engineering metrics, delivery governance frameworks, and operational excellence practices.

Success Measures (First 12 Months):

- Delivery of priority initiatives on schedule with agreed quality outcomes.

- Reduction in production incidents and improved service reliability metrics.

- Improved release predictability, test automation coverage, and deployment efficiency.

- Clear architecture decision records and stronger cross-team technical alignment
