## Description

Argus is seeking a Senior Reporter/Deputy Editor to join its expanding Freight team in London, covering specialised, tanker, dry bulk, and gas freight markets.

As a Senior Reporter/Deputy Editor, you will monitor and assess markets to produce daily and weekly price assessments, market commentaries, news, analysis, and reports. You will curate data, maintain and analyse existing data series, and develop graphs and charts within Excel to illustrate trends and analysis.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing an understanding of relevant commodity markets and working with other Argus teams to produce joint content

- Regular meetings and daily communication with key members of the industry, including traders, brokers, and business leaders to build relationships and gather news

- Contributing copy to relevant daily and periodical publications and the online news service

- Working with other departments to help promote the use of Argus price assessments and develop new pricing tools for the freight market

- Attending meetings, conferences, and industry events to build contacts, report on news, and represent Argus in the industry

The ideal candidate will have a strong degree, proven ability to develop, source, and write industry-relevant news to deadline, and excellent writing, grammar, and numeracy skills.
